MIF was a wealth of info during my Brother's diagnosis, treatment and ultimate death, ocurring from Melanoma. I rec'd personal, one on one help, concerning many issues, that helped our family tremendously during this sad and difficult time. I continue to rec emails and stay current on this deadly disease, which seems to be on the increase by leaps and bounds. My sincere thanks to all of those who keep this nonprofit going!!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing the positive results in many patients who have been diagnosed with this disease and are beating it!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Many over the course of 2 years by phone and email.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

start a mass campaign to, schools, daycares, etc, and to educate the general public on the necessary preventives.FDA and US govt should regulate pharmaseutical companies that make sunscreens and not allow to decieve the public by false statments.

Ways to make it better...

the live email conversation would have continued.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the huge increase in the number of melanoma cases each year and the younger generation who basically ignores the fact that the sun is the only reason people die from melanoma.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Us Baby Boomers are paying the price for fun in the sun years ago, and we should do everyting in our power to educate the public aganist over exposure to the sun and that tanning beds should be oulawed!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
