Girls to Women is an inspiring program. I watched girls from primary school age to young adults working together with admiration and support for each other. The staff is competent, energetic and supportive of girls of all ages, with age appropriate programs.

Helping the younger girls with their homework, I saw them looking toward the older girls and noting their confidence. The older girls returned their interest with encouraging smiles and were confident and generous about offering help. The little ones were confident about their future, following their elders.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I think it's heading in the right direction. More financial support would be helpful. A larger indoor space with room for all and privacy for some would be useful
MY ROLE:
Volunteer & I volunteered and helped the girls plant a garden that will provide after school snacks. Their self confidence and enthusiasm was a delight to expirience.
