Saltworks Theater Company, with CEO Norma Alrutz, offers performing arts to students in elementary, middle and high school students to address the issues that are so prevalent in current society. Students learn through the role models in the plays in areas of drugs and alcohol, bullying (including cyber bullying, girl bullying), nutrition and health, social behavior, character and peer acceptance. Students are fascinated by the performers and messages of the plays, and have a chance to follow up with the actors to discuss any questions that come up, resulting in greater understanding of important child and adolescent life issues. Years after involvement with Saltworks, students report that the plays changed their lives. Not only does the organization meet the need for social support, it opens up the performing arts to students and offers acting classes to children of all ages. I would highly recommend Saltworks for a Top-Rated Award.

Global links is TRULY a global non-profit, bring medical supplies to foreign countries that would only be thrown away here because they are the old models, and have been replaced. At this time in history, I believe this is a great need. We are defending many nations fights for freedom, and casualties are inevitable. Medical supplies from GLOBAL LINKS would be more than necessary - that would be critical!
