AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY FOUNDATION
July 24, 2009

The American Cancer Society has helped my family in so many ways. It has also given us an opportunity to help fight cancer as volunteers and. The medicines developed by the research of this amazing organization have saved my uncle's life. Their different programs for cancer patients and their families have helped millions. I have participated in their Relay for Life event for four years. I love this event because it gives me a way to celebrate the survivors in my family, remember the ones I've lost to cancer and fight back against the disease. The American Cancer Society has given me the chance to take part in something that gives hope to millions and saves lives and I truly can't thank them enough for all they have done.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

my relatives lives. My uncle's life was saved by the medicines developed by ACS and they provided support along the way when he was getting his cancer treatment.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

being able to participate in Relay for Life. I get the chance to raise money so that others will someday never have to deal with cancer. I also enjoy being surrouned by people who have gone through the same things as me.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

really helpful and friendly. They provided answers to all of my questions and they encouraged the entire community to join together and do something that would bring hope to so many people.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

improve cancer survivor rates, bring hope to even more cancer patients and their families, help those who cannot afford treatment, and bring us one step closer to a cancer-free world.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
