Review for American Cancer Society Foundation, Atlanta, GA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a great way to fight back against cancer and remember the people it takes away from us. My grandpa died when I was only 2, but I still have memories of him, and always wished that I would have had more memories of my grandpa. Through Relay for Life, I have been able to relive those memories, and help fund research that could possibly prevent my loved ones to lose the fight against cancer as my grandpa did. Getting involved as a high school student has been life changing. I want to continue to fight back against this terrible disease. American Cancer Society makes that possible!

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the sense of community and everyone coming together and whole-heartedly working for this great cause

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

all wonderful. Everyone is so passionate, and genuinely wants to make a difference.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

do so much. Save lives, fund research, new technology, and treatments.

Ways to make it better...

nothing. I couldn't have asked for my experience to be any better.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

abolishing cancer. Is are still a lot of steps to be taken to reach this goal.

One thing I'd also say is that...

ACS is an incredible organization that is changing lives, and there aren't a lot of ways to make it better than it already is.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
