B Joy S, Inc.
March 22, 2011

B Joy S, Inc. is a non profit organization that helps build a person up from the inside out. The workshops are interactive and thought provoking. I learned so much about myself and walked away with "ah hah" moments galore.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

We were grouped and re-grouped according to our various behavioral styles.. I never knew how I affected others until this session. I am now more aware of how my communication style can create harmony and understanding among others. I am now able to close the gap when there is miscommunication or misunderstandings. I have also gained skills in how to flex my style.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Get the word out to more people about how these classes, workshops and seminars can help individuals and organizations.

MY ROLE:
Client Served & I participated in an Emergenetics Workshop where I learned about my learned behaviors and the affects they have on the people I work and live with. .

Friends of Yates
March 22, 2011

Friends of Yates, Inc. has been a vital part of the community for many years. My children attended summer youth camps at the Center when they were young. I left them each day feeling confident that they were in good hands. The many services that Friends of Yates has provided for the community makes them more than a "service" agency. Friends of Yates is family...Community family.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Through Friends of Yates I personally have learned how to give...not just monitary, but from the heart to other people including: the staff, the volunteers, the residents, the childcare programs and many events that require intellectual knowledge. The benefits of the agency are too many to name...some are seen and some are not seen for many years to come. I always leave feeling like I haven't given or done enough. That feeling keeps me coming back!

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I would expand the services and programs so that MORE people could benefit. There is a great need for MORE job coaching, MORE youth programs, MORE training classes...More, More, More!

MY ROLE:
Professional with expertise in this field & I have worked with Friends of Yates on various projects and events.
