Review for HAPPILY EVER AFTER LEAGUE INC, Scottsdale, AZ, USA

Rating: 4 stars

The Happily Ever After League ( HEAL ) is a grass-roots organization. It is one of the few organizations that year-after-year does not lose sight of it's mission. It seems like so many of the larger organizations eventually devolve into politics, and fund-raising becomes the major objective of the organization, not actually helping clients. HEAL remains "small but mighty" in the sense that helping clients is the main objective.

I am a Board Member for Happily Ever After League for the last 3 years. I believe that the staff are truly motivated to help women with cancer to make it through their roughest times while they're receiving chemo and other treatment. The money that is donated goes almost exclusively to the recipients.

Role:  Board Member & I have helped in the decision making process of what directions the organization should explore to further their mission, and have participated in some of the fund-raising events.
