weSPARK Cancer Support Center
July 20, 2009
weSPARK is a unique experience which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for cancer patients and their families and friends.
As a companion to the medical treatment a patient receives, the weSPARK programs are designed to help those affected by cancer to cope with what is probably the scariest experience they have ever had.
All of the programs are free because funds are raised and more than 80 cents of every dollar goes to programming.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
expand the delivery of services to other geographic areas and allow 10 times as many people benefit.
Since a high percentage of those who come to weSPARK for services end up as volunteers; it must be a great experience.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Board Member & I have referred many people and have served on the Program Committee.
