We are an adoptive family to a thoroughbred former race horse mare that had an injury to its hoof that ended its racing career. The glitz and glamour of the racing days is interesting to research but the real joy we have is the daily beauty and enjoyment of being able to care for and absolutely love such a fine horse. Her years of training and regimented racing career make her such a pleasure to have at our family farm. Bev and Bright Futures Farms have made our dream home and dream horse farm a reality. We are extremely happy to know that this horse that gave so much to so many will "not" be merely discounted and sent to slaughter or mistreated and abused in any way shape or form, but is now at her forever home and loved as she should be!
