THE HEART CONNECTION
July 16, 2009
I have been apart of this organization sense 1989 and I make it a point to be there every year because it means so much to me. At camp I have made friendships that I couldnt make anywhere else. I had brain surgery back in December of 08 and one of my camp buddies sat by me for two days while I was sleeping and only able to days in and out.
The people you meet leave their prints on your heart wether they are age five or eighteen, everyone will have an impact.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Not having to worry about making ends meet for the kids to be able to come to camp so they can have one week of freedom. Having cancer makes kids feel limited, but we want to keep camp going to give kids with cancer a week of freedom and equality.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Volunteer & Counselor at camp for kids with cancer and there siblings.
