ICING SMILES
October 14, 2013

Bonnie from Icing Smiles created an amazing Skylanders themed birthday cake for my son, Isaiah. It not only looked amazing, but tasted amazing as well! It truly brought a huge smile to Isaiah's face. We lost Isaiah's older brother, Eli (age 7), to cancer in January of 2012. This organization realizes that it's not just the kids fighting that need a smile, but their siblings as well. I am so thankful to Bonnie and to Icing Smiles for this amazing opportunity to give Isaiah such an amazing birthday cake!

Beat Cancer Today, Inc.
November 7, 2012

Beat Cancer Today was founded in Iowa in 2009 by a few parents of children diagnosed with cancer. This organization works hard at raising awareness and funding for childhood cancer research. It also supports patient and family programs through Children's Cancer Connection and Dance Marathon. My son, Eli, proudly wore his BEAT CANCER tshirt and enjoyed the events made possible by Beat Cancer Today until he passed away in January of 2012 after fighting Neuroblastoma and Leukemia for over 4 years. I am fully behind the mission of this organization and am passionate about our need to BEAT CANCER TODAY!

CANDLELIGHTERS OF NEW YORK CITY INC
July 14, 2009

Candlelighters, NYC is an amazing non profit run by Barbara Zobian. Barbara is dedicated to helping families in New York City get through the difficult times when a child is diagnosed with cancer. We came to NYC to get treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for his Stage IV Neuroblastoma in October of 2007 and Barbara really helped us out in very practical ways. She throws amazing parties that the kids LOVE and it is a great way for the kids to get away from the "hospital life" and do really fun activities in Manhattan! http://www.candlelightersnyc.org

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazingly generous and dedicated to helping families that are coping with a child with cancer.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help families afford living in NYC while getting treatment for their child as well as make brighter days for those kids going through treatments.
