This group publishes news stories about women and affecting women all over the world, which help clear the view for what is happening, what isn't, what is changing, and where our involvement may make a difference. Without information, no progress is made - this organization spreads the information, and supports women and women journalists many places in the world.

Stories, particularly international ones, which would never be published in standard news outlets are covered, giving readers a much better idea of what is going on and to/by whom, in the world. I am often brought up short with a story, where something I had never thought of is described and discussed. It actually encourages me, to see these corners of what is completely dim and featureless in main media. I really appreciate their information!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Knowing many bright spots I had not known of in the world, and realizing that women have a long way to go to gain equality in even what I thought was the best of places.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Try to get more of the stories included in other media and organizations - I don't remember seeing any I've read in the Women's eNews repeated in other media (TV, liberal newsletters, women's organizations' newsletters, even John Stewart!).

I feel they are not widely known, so have a limited pool to tap for contributions and stated their need

I have a responsibility to support them if possible, when they do something I use and appreciate.

What would you tell others about this organization?

It will give you stories and information you'd never thought about before.
