I was a participant in one of the FD kayaking programs last summer. It changed my life. I'll never forget the connections I made with other survivors and one day I hope to be able to give back to this great organization that has given me so much!

When I was diagnosed with cancer at 27, I found myself thrust into a world of confusing terms, life-altering decisions, strange side effects, and profound loneliness. Through I2Y and their social networking capabilities, I've been able to connect with other survivors who, through shared experiences, provide an immediate comfort in my life. I know I am not alone. Because of my connections with I2Y, I am living every day with a sense of purpose.

the way of social networking. Great job bringing young adult survivors together both in cyberspace and the real world.

friendly and welcoming. Survivorship is a club that no one asks to be in, but once you are there, with I2Y you are never left out in the cold.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
launch a huge public relations campaign to bring attention to the AYA cancer cause and demand improvements in care for this demographic.
