Bev in Citrus
Review for United Food Bank, Mesa, AZ, USA
Our subdivision is a former working citrus grove in SE Phoenix. United Food Bank has partnered with my neighborhood for 5 years now by providing us with volunteers to pick our excess fruit, boxes and pallets to collect this fruit and then picking it all up to take back to their facility. They in turn give this fruit to people who need and want it. It is a win-win for all of us. We are so grateful to UFB for all of the time and energy they put into transfering this wealth of healthy citrus to others when we cannot. Mrs. Yazzie is tireless in her efforts to provide a service to US...and then to others. We would be lost without UFB and their dedication to using the excess fruit of the southeast valley to feed those in need.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
All they do to help us spread our citrus donations to others.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Give Mrs. Yazzie more help!!!! She does the work of 3 people.
