Review for Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program, Miami, FL, USA
"Being a member of Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program in High School were some of the best years of my life. This program is not only great in helping young ladies become successful in their lives and in school, but is also great in changing lives for the better. This program sees needs that must be met in some way, so the women in this program embrace the young ladies of tomorrow and welcome them in with open arms, concern and true dedication in trying to help them. These inspiring women does not focus on one's race, gender or ethnicity background but simply on trying to feel the need in which ever young lady's life they encounter. I personally am now a freshmen in college and I can truly say that this program should not be taken for granted for it most definitly stands true to it's foundation. That is helping, encouraging and uplifting young ladies that are in need everywhere. Letting them know also to not forget about the women that helped them thus far but to remember what was done for them and return that gratitude and apprciation back to not only the program but to the other young ladies of tomorrow that are coming up behind them. Women of Tomorrow touched my heart as well as my legal guardian's heart which is my aunt and helped us also to understand that there is hope, that we didn't have to worry about how we were going to pay for school or what comes next when I made it to the collegian level. This program should be recommended to every young lady and I'm sure each and everyone that becomes a part of the Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program will as well as their parents have some since of security within themselves, but they must put forth effort, get involved, and apply themselves to whatever given task(s) that are presented to them and I'm sure everything will turn out okay if not great.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
In different High Schools such as Blanche Ely High, Deerfield High, etc.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I woud definitly change nothing about this organization but will recommend that within this program that these inspiring women continue to reach out to the young ladies that are in need and be of encouragement to the ones that aren't.
