Teen Hype is an excellent organization. Detroit needs a positive impact/inspiration for it's youth these days, now more than ever. As an alum, I know personally the influence that Teen Hype has on it's youth whether they are a part of the organization or witnessing their work. Such programs instill a sense of hope for the future. Promoting positive, healthy lifestyles was a way for me to meet other youth that shared my interests as well as build my own character through education and the performing arts. Its disheartening to hear a teen say they have never been to summer camp or a part of a youth group because I know the extensive amount of enrichment they have missed out on and the drastic effect that such groups as Teen Hype can have on a teen even years later when they have become a young adult like myself. May God bless Teen Hype and the live that they have changed and will continue to enrich.

Next Step was absolutely amazing! Seriously. I'm 21 and cancer often left me lonely, but at NS I met so many other yung adults who could really understand me. There was nothing forced about it. The activities covered everything I needed intellectually and socially as a YA w/cancer. I'm n the hospital having just received a Bone Marrow transplant; the wisdom of friends I met at NS helped me mentally prepare for this.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
A large way.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would make the program last a day or 3 longer.
