As a former intern of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, I cannot say enough good things about what goes on behind and beyond their walls. The individuals of this organization are not simply employees by the Food Bank but they embody a the mission to further the community through their efforts to eradicate hunger. The management is outstanding and because of such superb leadership, the Food Bank is able to efficiently and effectively work to bring about change in the community. This is an organization that loves and serves like a nonprofit but has the efficiency and success rate of a fortune 500 company. The Food Bank is without a doubt the most meaningful nonprofit I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with.
The Great!
