I have a very vivid memory of sitting in 2nd grade in 1957 and learning about Pilgrims. The whole time the teacher was talking I was silently inquiring about the women Pilgrims. How did they take care of their babies, how did they make dinner, how did they take care of their clothes, why were they never the important part of the story. This continued my entire school life. Years have now passed but in that time I devoted many hours to education making sure that other young women could find the answers regarding womens' roles throughout history.
Today, I am an avid reader of Women's E-news. It gives me the details I need to know about the special role of women in our economy, society, diplomacy and entertainment. It is a vital part of my daily reading and information.
