Review for PAINTED DOG RESEARCH-ZIMBABWE, Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Amazing ! I visited Hwang NP this May and visited PDC. They are the real deal. The visitor center is a must see for anyone visiting Zimbabwe. Very informative , beautifully displayed. i especially noted the artwork made from snare wire. To see something that was meant to killed morph into beautiful art pieces that profits the dogs is awing. I did see in the field painted dogs, what social beings. The way the pack interacts with each other for the good of the whole is something we humans should take note of. i also was blown away by the bush camp for the local 6th graders. if more children were taught and shown conservation this way the world would be a much better place. DONATE to this great organization they are doing great work with it.

Review for ORANGUTAN FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Without OFI orangutans would be closer to extinction. OFI is fighting deforestation and the illegal animal traffic trade. OFI has saved hundreds of orangutans and has rehabbed many to release in protected forest. Supporting this organization save apes. Please help. Review for Wildlife Conservation Network, Inc., Los Altos, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

WCN continues to do wonderful and excellent work in supporting conservationists around the world. With their low numbers of pais staff and high numbers of volunteers, donations go directly to the conservation programs. I will continue to support this worthy organization.

i became aware of WCN a few years ago. Their annual expo is very informative and overall I have been greatly impressed with the organization. They highlight conservationists who are doing great field work and introduce them to people who can support them. Funds raised go directly to the conservationists which is very effective.

Role:  Donor & I attended WCN's expo and had my mind open to the amazing work being done to save a number of endangered species. .

Review for Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS), San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have worked with PAWS from the near beginning , over 20 years. The focus of this group is to honor the human- animal bond by helping immune compromised, chronically ill or seniors who have financial and /or physical compromises that without help the human could not keep their best friend/ main cheerleader with them. I am a veternarian who gives time and money to PAWS so they can continue this great mission. PAWS helps with food , transport to vets, housing adovacy, dog walks, litterbox changers and provides some financial veterinary support. They also are educating professionals and the public on how vital and beneficial a pet can be to these clients who are often socially isolated. The pets give the humans a reason to get up in the more and carpi deim.

Role:  Donor & provide veterinary support to the pets of PAWS clients .

Review for PETS UNLIMITED, San Francisco, CA, USA

Rating: 4 stars

i have worked with Pets Unlimited for over a decade and first hand have seen the good works they do. They take in animals from other shelters that have medical needs, fix them up and find them loving homes. They also work with many SF animal welfare groups such as Vet SOS, PAWS and Animal Care and Control providing veterinary care at great discount. The shelter utilizes many volunteers to help with socialization of the cats and dogs so the are adoptable. My animals have been expertly treated by their veterinarians and I happily know that a portion of my fees goes to support their charitable programs and shelter.

Role:  Donor & fostered kittens.
