The only comprehensive domestic violence service agency in San Mateo County, CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse) provides vital services to women and children impacted by abuse. CORA helps clients to attain a renewed sense of self-worth and gives them the tools to forge a violence-free future - these services are provided with dedication, compassion, conviction and discretion.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have served on either the Board of Directors or on the Advisory Board for CORA since 2005.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Magically provide them with all the funding they need to increase services, expand available housing and children's therapy programs.
MY ROLE:
Advisor & I am a women's health physician and see the health impacts of physical and emotional violence everyday.
