Hire more folks to live and work at the farm long-term. Be clear about the 10-year plan for the place. Become a separate non-profit from Sacred Heart. Nothing else!! So much is wonderful.

Have an endowment so that it could continue to put it's energy into the great programs without worrying so much about the bills and expenses.
Ways to make it better...
Not sure it could be better. The directors are wonderful but so busy- always a challenge to keep things moving forward. They could probably use a it more qualified paid help!
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Making sure that people understand it is not a religious teaching organization- that they are quite separate from the Sacred Heart and that they receive no money or backing from them, nor do they teach with any religious affiliation in mind.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The people there believe in what they are doing with all of their lives.
