HOMEAID AMERICA INC

I have been with HomeAid Houston, an organization providing warm, dignified housing to the transitionally homeless, since the beginning in 2003 and I can say without a doubt it has been one of the most satisfying and fulfilling endeavors of my life. Seeing the tangible results both in the building process and the changed lives is incredible. Many thanks to the agencies, volunteers, builders and suppliers who make it all possible.

I have been a board member since HomeAid Houston was formed as the charity arm of the Greater Houston Builders Association. Although we got off to a rocky start, the transformation in the organization through the board and leadership has been nothing short of remarkable. This working board and the hundreds of volunteers and benefactors have become one of Houston's leading charities for sheltering the homeless. The builders, remodelers, suppliers and contractors have shared their time, talent and resources even in these difficult times to make each year more successful than the last.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Seeing the women and children who have benefitted from having real homes in which to rebuild their lives.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Board Member & I helped reorganize the charity and raise funds.
