Our tiny mission is called Network Coffeehouse. We have been serving the mentally ill and homeless population of Denver for 32 years. We are a ministry of "presence". A warm place in the winter. A cool place out of summer's roasting heat. We mostly "visit" w people. Sometimes we serve in other capacities. Mostly we "pay" attention to people we've known for years and years. EOC has made a major investment in our plant. Our place was bran new in 1988, but we were so poor that we installled an antiquated boiler. Heather and her crew have upgraded us to a high-effeciency unit that is saving us a ton in heating bills and making us feel better about how we care for "mother EARTH". They have invested in our long-term financial bottom line. We give showers to people that really need them. We warm up people that really need the nurture. I know we do this with nearly a 50% upgrade in usage!!! That's a gift that just keeps giving!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is vision. This is beauty. This is MERCY!!! Thanks.
