International Rivers Network dba International Rivers
May 1, 2009

International Rivers is an amazing force for protecting and revitalizing the world's rivers and the cultures and and traditions that flow with them. They have done so much around the globe to link water and human rights that they should be recognized for this important work every day of the year. Without water there is no life. With sustainable rivers and strong cultural traditions we all thrive!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the lives of people threatened by large hydro electric dams

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Continue the great work they are already doing

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

they link the fate of ecosystems to the future of humankind

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

extremely knowledgeable, professional, and committed

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

change the way we all think about rivers, water, and the possibilities for a transformed and thriving global community

Ways to make it better...

I had known about this organization ten years earlier

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

a well-funded hydroelectric power industry and a world hell bent on developing in ways that required more energy every day

One thing I'd also say is that...

I'd like to see other environmental and human rights groups do what International Rivers has done as far as making the links between ecosystems and human rights

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009
