Energy Outreach Colorado
November 22, 2010
I learned about NEEP by attending a workshop sponsored by Xcel for non-profits promoting energy conservation. Our agency applied for improvements at two of our facilities and both were selected. Heather Gullen is both professional and personable throughout the process, with the site visits and also following up after all the work was completed. Primary areas of the project included weatherization around doors and windows, adding insulation, installing occupancy sensors. Other projects included the separation of hot water boilers to provide separate domestic hot water, replacement of hollow metal door. Contractors were great to work with as well and concerned about the quality of work completed.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
This organization helped complete energy efficiency projects that were not within our budget. They also are doing follow up education with the staff and a great and available support.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I cannot think of any changes. This is a great avenue for businesses in the community to work with local nonprofits.
Client Served & I am the operations manager for our agency and coordinated the project.
