Northern Illinois Food Bank

I first volunteered at NIFB when a group of high school students from our church were going to work there on a Saturday morning six or seven years ago. I was impressed then, and still am, with the commitment to help the communities they serve feed those who are hungry. It has always been a positive, well-spent morning when we go to work. I am always glad to volunteer a little time for this great organization.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have seen my children become more committed to helping others who are less fortunate.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Help them get moved into their new building so they can be more effecient.
Volunteer & I helped sort and package donated food.
