The Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place (CCHFP) is a rare and special organization that combines passion for its mission with administrative and managerial excellence. CCHFP’s facilities and innovative programs not only provide stop-gap measures to help the homeless of Washington, DC escape the streets, they also provide a full-range of services to help people address underlying problems and re-build their lives. CCHFP works with a wide range of stakeholders, including local and federal governmental agencies, churches and congregations, local businesses, and other homeless client service organizations.
