Energy Outreach Colorado
November 16, 2010
Without Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC)more than 700 families each year would find themselves sitting in the dark in their own homes. Through Energy Outreach Colorado we have as an agency been able to help that number of families every year as a result of energy grants received from EOC. Many people think of the needs of those in distress particularly during cold winter months. but what happens when there is no money to pay an electric bill in the summer - when refrigerators can't operate and food is spoiled; when the heat is sweltering and there is no means to cool down a fretful baby or elderly parent. EOC comes to the rescue in winter and in summer. They are concerned about the energy needs of people throughout the entire state and work with local agencies to help people in need. They are generous in their grants and personable to work with. They have a heart as well as a purse from which they draw resources and distribute to thousands.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the grants I have reeived that are then distributed to persons in need in our community.
