I have volunteered at Safe harbor for almost 2 years. At first I did it to help those in need, but now I realize how much it helps me too. I get so much out of it and truly look forward to going. So many residents have touched my life there and hopefully, I have touched a few of theirs.

I started volunteering at Safe Harbor about 2 months ago after many years of interest in serving the homeless. It is very clean, organized, and well-run. The staff and residents are friendly and make me feel welcome.

Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Train the volunteers or walk them through some of the procedures at the shelter more.
