CURE International, Inc.

My family and I visited CURE's first hospital in Kijabe, Kenya over ten years ago. We spent time with the incredible leadership of that hospital and with the children receiving surgical care for their physical disabilities. We were able to see first hand how the CURE hospital with its quality surgeons and staff were able to make a crippled child walk again and a deformed arm straight again. As we experienced the smiles of these children and of their care-givers, we were forever committed to supporting the work of this wonderful organization.
In these past ten years, we have seen CURE open 10 additional hospitals in developing world countries like Uganda, Ethiopia, Honduras, Afghanistan and others. These additional hospitals provide the same first world quality care that we saw in Kenya in the year 2000. Not only are they able to now perform nearly 20,000 surgeries and see nearly 225,000 outpatients annually, they also provide effective spriitual and social support to these patients and their family.
CURE also has established effective training programs at each of their facilities to promote better health care capacity in the developing world countries where they work.
We are honored to be a part of such a wonderful and high value organization.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The monthly stories I read about the children that are helped by CURE's ongoing activities. They have story after story of how a young child's life has been transformed after visiting a CURE facility. The physically disabled child in the developing world has few or no options available to them to enable them to recieve quality healing. CURE provdies that and so much more.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I would support new ways for the organization to increase the number of people aware of the work that this organization accomplishes each and every day.
