Review for Blossom International Inc, Manasquan, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Been with Blossom since its founding and I know the passionate, caring nature of all the volunteers who make its work possible. Together we have done great things through youth and family volunteer programs.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the amazing people I have met, the changes I know were made by the efforts of the volunteers and the better person it continues to make me.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Caring, compassionate and hard working.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

empower all children to create a better world and future.

Ways to make it better...

we had that 10 million bucks! :)

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the attitudes in American society that place value on financial standing and gain instead of the value of community, goodness and kindness.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I hope I am still a Blossom volunteer in twenty years.

Review for Solar Electric Light Fund, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am a supporter of SELF because I believe in their mission to provide solar power and wireless communications to a quarter of the world’s population living in energy poverty. Acting as a catalyst, SELF provides technical and financial assistance to empower these people to change their lives. It is a sustainable way to change the well being and quality of life for those who need it most.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that the work they're doing really matters.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

friendly, passionate and hard working.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

create a more sustainable world through sustainable and environmentally friendly power.
