Although a good organization, it is poorly governed by its Board of Directors. It failed to file the 990 IRS form for years 2007, 2008, and 2009 until late 2010. Money is mismanaged and restricted funds are not used propoerly. The Board of Directors does not understand the basic responsibilities of a non profit governing board -- particularly the fiduciary responsibilities. The organization refuses to provide financials to the public when requested.

Highly recommend that the Board have term limits and classes that are adhired to. The Board needs training in non profit governance and policy governance. Financial controls and appropriate accounting proceedures need to be put in place. Taxes need to be filed in timely manner. Donor Bill of Rights needs to be adopted and adhered to.
