Peer Support Network, Inc.
October 23, 2010
New nonprofit founded on the premise that peer support is essential to improving the quality of life, healing and recovery of those coping with cancer and together, peers gain hope, education, understanding, encouragement, inspiration and greater self-empowerment from those that have already embarked on this journey.
They provide an online community/social network in which newly diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors and their caregivers coping with the emotional and physical challenges of a cancer diagnosis can find peer support from others that have undergone similar experiences. Users are able to create personal profiles, share stories and photos, and find others with like situations.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
looking forward to having more and more online community members/users to help one another on this free online community/social network.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
hope for a world without cancer!
Volunteer & I co-founded this organization to offer to cancer patients, their caregivers and others.
