Raising Special Kids has been in existence for over 30 years. Their "Tag Line" is "families helping families." This takes many forms, shapes and avenues. I am very proud to be asscociated with and active in touching the lives of families as they experience the challenges in raising children with special health care needs. Raising Special Kids offers family-centered support from the Board of Directors, at the top level, through the staff, volunteers and then directly to families and their children. There are no fees or charges to families.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my own life as parent of a young adult with special health care needs.
