My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for A Childs Song Inc, Thornton, CO, USA
As parents of adopted children we were keenly aware of the high likelihood of fetal alcohol and drug exposure. We knew that proper musical and physical activity could help stimulate brain development during those early years. 2 of our 7 adopted kids have been students at A Child's Song since birth. We feel that it was a significant contributor to their happy and healthy childhood. As the kids grew we moved them into piano and then into other activities like voice and drama... oh well, no guitar players... I am also on the board and an officer, so I have seen similar results for many kids over the years. There is also a significant impact to the entire family as moms and dads take part in the activities with the kids! It is a great experience and truly beneficial!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Seeing families brighten as the parents participate with the children in various classes.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
knowledgeable, loving, caring, and skilled at working with children ad parents.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Provide more scholarships and more special programs like the successful senior center and Summer Kinder Culture programs. They could take some of their special learning models nation and world wide.
