It was a pleasure to have worked with a unique organization with truly dedicated booard members. I hope to contribute in any way I can, with the time and resourcs that I have, to support the mission of the organization. I have witnessed improved confidence and public-speaking skills in the students most recently when I judged the IT's TIME public speaking competition. I also believe that the mentoring component of the program benefits the children by allowing them to interact with adults and ask the right questions about education and careers. Students will take these experiences with them through high school, giving them an advantage when they start their college admissions processes.
