SMART
September 27, 2010

SMART makes an impact in very tangible and powerful ways. Children who enter the SMART program are virtually assured of attending a college-track high school and have a very high probability of attending college. SMART attracts not just the brightest students, but most importantly those with the motivation to improve their lives and become productive members of society. SMART is their guide, mentor, and tutor on this exciting but challenging journey.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

sponsoring a child in the SMART program and watching her do great things.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

expand the number of kids SMART is able to help each year.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the tangible impact it makes on the lives of many under-privileged kids.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

passionate about SMART's mission and dedicated to making sure each child succeeds in life.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

permanently endow its San Francisco program and expand to other geographies.

Ways to make it better...

SMART could help more children each year.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

recruiting outside contributors, both financial donors and volunteers to help mentor and tutor SMART kids.

One thing I'd also say is that...

investing your time and capital in SMART has a demonstrable, gratifying return.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
