Review for Faith Aloud, St. Louis, MO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've been volunteering on the board of trustees for Faith Aloud for five years. I have great respect of Faith Aloud and for the work it does. It is changing the landscape of reproductive justice in a badly needed way.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I counsel women who are struggling spiritually with a reproductive choice. Our organization brings hope to their lives and gives them spiritual language that affirms their life situation. We are changing the discourse of abortion one heart at a time.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Expand this organization. Give it a budget of $2.5 million so that it can do the work that is opening up before it. We need to invest in staff so as to expand our programming and outreach. The need for our services is huge.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

seeing it make a real difference in people's lives.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated and energized by their work, and fully embodying our mission and vision.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

expand into every state and move on every opportunity that is coming its way.

Ways to make it better...

we had the funding to fully staff this organization.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

responding to the incredible outpouring of response with current staffing levels.

One thing I'd also say is that...

our executive director is fabulous and is the heart and soul of the organization. Her direction, her vision for its future and her ability to motivate and guide volunteers and staff, and to build relationships is incredible.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
