Friends of Characterplus is a completely volunteer organization made up of a board committeed to helping schools become the best they can be for all students. They have several fundraisers through out the year which are always fun and well attended.

Working with schools that are able to change climate and culture so all staff, students and parents have a sense of autonomy, belonging and competence. When a school reaches this goal the academics go up.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
It would move the organization along if we had some paid staff. Friends of C+ has been incorporated for only 5 yrs. So maybe sometime in the future.

MY ROLE:
Board Member & I sit on the board as the Director of Characterplus the organization that Friends of Characterplus supports. I am a non voting member of the board. I provide the board with updates on what is happening with Characterplus, suggest ways for them to support .
