International Orthodox Christian Charities, Inc.
April 15, 2009

This is a faith based International organization with a $40 million annual program. IOCC also has a domestic program and services in the USA. They are efficient, effective and very credible among those they serve. They do not live the "white Toyota Landcruiser"NGO lifestyle that so many NGOs have adopted. They keep staff and overhead in small proportio compared to program services and value rendered. They are not big on advertising or self promotion but they are huge on outreach and services in the back bush where few venture!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

both domestic and international locations.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

look for more hours in the day!

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

that they make it happen with less and they work as a team . They are committed to transparent financial practices and have established sound controls and accountability throughout the organization.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Motivated ,compassionate and energetic.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

put $9.5 million into direct services to the poor and marginalized with only $0.5 million going to overhead!

Ways to make it better...

More resources were available.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

accomodating all of the need they are confronted with
