Finger Lakes Institute
September 3, 2010
During the three years that we have had the opportunity to work with the students of Finger Lakes Institute we have been extremely impressed with their enthusiastic support. All the students that have participated in our Alternative Spring Break events have worked tirelessly to help our crew remove tons of garbage from the Ohio and Cedar Rivers. The tremendous amount of work our organization has accomplished would not be possible without the generosity of these students. It is incredibly inspiring to see and work with so many wonderful individuals that willingly give up a care-free spring break to help with the back breaking work of improving the quality of our Nations waterways!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the amount of trash they help collect and sort during their short time with us while participating our Alternative Spring Break program.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
meeting and working with fantastic students.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
outgoing students that were not afraid of hard work and a little mud.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
attempt to address the dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico with new innovative practices.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About once a year
