Akash Kuruvilla Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.
September 3, 2010

The scholarship is dedicated to a great leader and former colleague. His exemplary attitude and dedication to his work served as an inspiration to all the volunteers running the organization. Once I interacted with the volunteers to understand why they were supporting this cause, I could see how many lives had been affected. Their hard work and dedication in reviewing applications and selecting very promising youth is direct avenue for success. I do not hesitate at all in recommending this great scholarship for any donation they seek and hope to be able to continue making my small donations.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

knowing whom and being made well aware of the scholarships that are given out. The descriptions of the winners allows me to know that I was able to make a small change in one persons life.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make it grow bigger and award more than two scholarships in a year

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The dedication of the staff

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Enthusiastic and believed in the mission of the scholarship

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Make a difference in a lot of lives and help a lot of talented youth realise the 'American Dream'. I have no doubt in thinking they would plan well for the future and ensure the sustainability of this scholarship as well.

Ways to make it better...

Information was focussed around application time and donation time. Keep it year round

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Lack of awareness of the difference this scholarship makes

One thing I'd also say is that...

keep improving... the sky is the limit

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
