Pratt Fine Arts Center
August 26, 2010
Pratt serves the northwest by providing educational programs and specialized facilities that enables everyone to make art through sculpture, glass, jewelry, printmaking, painting and drawing. It provides access to studios and an array of equipment for working artists and invites patrons of visual arts to support local artists and learn more about the skills and techniques of each discipline. But most importantly, Pratt invites everyone in, from young people challenged in the traditional school setting to retirees learning to fuse glass. With special intensive workshops offered by master artists and special events to help artists display and market their pieces, Pratt truly provides an open door to everyone who loves the visual mrts and wants to 'Make Art"
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
