Central New England Equine Rescue
August 3, 2010
I will admit I was never a horse lover until I was brought to this wonderful place. A dear friend of mine wanted to introduce me to this world. I'm so happy she did. The friendly/family atmosphere at the Rescue makes you feel like you belong there. The horses all appreciate the attention and love given to them. I walked into this barn for the first time scared to death of horses and two of the horses actually reached out to me to calm my nerves and volunteers welcomed with me with open arms. The combination of these things made me want to get involved and help in any way I could. This is an organization that will do whatever it takes to save a horse in need! I have never seen a group with such big hearts. I’m privileged to know them and be a part of what they do.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have seen the Rescue take in some horses that really needed their help. One that sticks in my mind was a horse starving to death. Seeing the transformation of this horse into the beauty she is today showed me exactly what this group is all about.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the friendships I have made
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
some of the best people I know.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Volunteer & I help in anyway I can.
