Mayan Families is an exceptional organization that not only takes a wide scope of the needs of the Mayan people to heart, but also ensures that every donated dollar goes towards the people whom they serve. They are rooted in integrity and compassion. My volunteer experience with them was fantastic because I was given ample opportunity to serve on a breadth of projects, and my responsibilities could entail as much as I was willing to give. Great organization!

MY ROLE:
Volunteer & I helped perform health assessments for children in their preschools, and with setting up onil stoves for families, as well as hand out food and clothing at various locations.
