As an Animal Control Officer I see abused and unwanted animals on a daily basis. LDCRF have been invaluable in helping us place dogs and cats who would otherwise be euthanized or left in a horrible situation that was barely into compliance with the laws. They have been a true haven to the unwanted and abused animals who never got a fair shot at life.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Fostering and adopting out animals who were in desperate need of assistance and a home.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Mandate homechecks for all adoptions.
More feedback
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The amazing stories and pictures of the dogs that I have fostered in their new homes.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very helpful!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Do even more - educate the public about proper care of aniamls, spay/neuter, and take in more animals from dire situations which would inturn eleviate some of the strain on the open admission shelters.
Ways to make it better...
Hum...cannot think of anything.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Public ingnorance about "rescue animals."
One thing I'd also say is that...
Please spay and neuter your pet.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every month
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
