This completely changed my outlook on rescue and made me feel like I was making a huge difference in many lives at once. I've learned skills that have made me more adaptable, hardy, smart, and determined. I've pulled those skills into running the local rescue I volunteer with. I've expanded my horizons far beyond where I was before I started this endeavor.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the emotional, intellectual, and physical levels by deploying for emergency sheltering operations.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

hold more volunteer training sessions

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the ability to make a huge difference all at once in so many lives with one deployment.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

wonderfully diverse, but all with the same heart-felt love and respect for animals' well-being.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

make a huge impact on animal care philosophy in our country.

Ways to make it better...

I could have stayed longer or or deployed more often instead of working at my blah normal job.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

the huge demand that cruel people create by their actions.

One thing I'd also say is that...

if you care enough to volunteer for a rescue, working with UAN will triple that incentive you feel.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every six months

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009
