I have been searching for an organization to become involved with that reaches out to the community and helps groups of people who have been marginalized and have experienced unfortunate setbacks. During a board meeting and my online review of the NCADD non-profit I have learned that their array of programs are very comprehensive and have a proven success record as evidenced by the many members of the Sacramento County community that have learned to overcome alcoholism and drug dependence. I am very much looking forward to the next Board meeting in which I plan to join the Board.
