When I heard that there was going to be a support group for Breast Cancer survivors here in Orange County NY, connected to Breast Cancer Options in Kingston, I was very pleased. My surgeon is connected to BC Options, and I had been receiving emails from them for awhile. The leader of the group is a survivor of breast cancer and creates a safe space for us to share our experiences, although sometimes it does digress offtopic. People have come and presented information concerning supplements, diet, tai chi, relaxation, and I did a little writing exercise. This year I attended the breast Cancer Options Cancer Conference for the first time, and found the speakers and presenters met my needs for information, both regular and alternative. I recommend this group as the one to contact in our area for breast cancer related questions and situations.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the meeting room on Crystal Run in Middletown.
