Not many people would volunteer to leave the comfort of the U.S.A. to live in a third world country. Even fewer would go and minister in an area that is probably one of the world's largest garbage dumps, toxic and polluted.
Pastor Jack did just that, feeling the call of God to reach out to those poor souls that try to eke out a living in the dregs of the Payatas dump. Pastor Jack and his lovely family have a heart to serve the poorest of the poor, opening a free medical clinic, sending children to summer camp, giving clothing and food from their own limited resources.
I know Pastor Jack will frequently sacrifice
a comfort we take for granted if he can be a blessing to someone else.

The smiling face of children who for a week can get three meals a day, be able to enjoy just being kids without hunger pangs. The reports of people who have come to know Jesus Christ as Savior!
